Easy Dosing for Hempexco CBD

How to use CBD oil has been the subject of a lot of articles, blogs, speculation, and a lot of myths. Using CBD isn’t something you’re born knowing how to do, but a lot of brands require you to do some complicated calculations. We don’t think this is necessary.

At HempExCo, we worked on a system to make it easier for you to figure out what you’re using. Here’s how to take CBD oil using HempExCo products.

1. Read the Label for easy dosing of Hempexco products

First, check the amount of Hempexco CBD in the bottle for your total available active CBD. Then look at how many milligrams in a serving. While most brands aren’t very clear about what a serving is, HempExCo will tell you straight up on the bottle how many active milligrams of CBD in each serving as well as what the serving is. We don’t have serving sizes because everyone is different!

Example: In our 600mg bottle of tincture, it says “1mg per drop” (for the advanced math whizzes, this is because 600mg over 30ml equals 20mg over 1ml). Our dropper is marked in ¼ ml (5 mg) increments. A full dropper is 20mg. Easy peasy!

2. Determine Your Starting Dose

We usually start with ½ mg per ten pounds of body weight. This means 5mg for every hundred pounds. If you don’t get relief at this dose in three days, increase your dose by 1mg every three days to find your effective dose.

This is not only getting the best benefits out of your CBD, it’s also getting the most bang for your buck!

Example: Ashley weighs 120 pounds. 120 pounds at ½ mg per pound makes an initial dose of 6mg. She found after three days that didn’t take care of her pain, so she increased it to 7mg. That worked so she takes 7mg of tincture per day.*
